AML/CFT - Refresher

This AML/CFT Refresher Course is designed to bring participants up to speed with the latest developments in Mauritius’ compliance landscape. In light of recent legislative changes and regulatory updates— including the Financial Crimes Commission Act 2023 and the findings of the National Risk Assessment 2025, as well as trends in the treatment of sanctions and beneficial ownerships, reporting persons face heightened expectations for robust customer due diligence, beneficial ownership transparency, and proactive risk management.

We will also review recent enforcement cases to extract practical lessons, and revisit KYC fundamentals to ensure that the “basics” are applied to the highest standard.
